This collection features paintings on original pages from repurposed antique hymnals published in the early 1900’s. Every hymnal page in this collection has its own story - each one has been held by hands for many decades - many for over 100 years. Selected hymnal pages have been uniquely hand-painted using opaque watercolors to allow the hymn lyrics to be read and preserved. The hymns have been sealed, stitched onto linen, and signed on the back by the artist. They are truly one of a kind and their imperfections add to their beauty.
